April Art Walk

April Art Walk

Join us for the Capitol Hill Art Walk on Thursday April 11th from 5 to 8pm!

We have two new featured artists in the shop this month! Come celebrate their shop debut for the Art Walk or visit us during the rest of April to see these beautiful pieces!

Yaminee Patel

Yaminee is an Indian American artist originally from Northwest Ohio. She moved to Seattle in 2021 for a new tech job and found the Seattle's rich art community in the process. She's been making art since she was a child but has only started sharing it in public spaces in 2023. Her work consists of acrylics, watercolors, and digital pieces. She draws inspiration from taking basic concepts and flipping them on their head to create something through-provoking, such as visual wordplay. Yaminee focuses on bright, bold color and whimsical concepts, as well as line work. Since moving to Seattle she has drawn inspiration from both the city and the Pacific Northwest. As she connects more with the community, she also creates work inspired by small businesses and local Seattle life.

Elena Deng

Based in Seattle's Capitol Hill, Elena started Chunky Ceramics in her small apartment studio. All her ceramic pieces are handmade with love in her home for your home. Elena plays with organic, colorful forms that bring delight and a pop of color into the home! She loves creating forms that incorporate some sort of nature within it, whether it's a plant pot or a pot with a plant painted on it!
